Garage Fire on Gormley Ave.

7/22/2007 - Stations 215, 267, and 209 were dispatched to a Garage fire endangering a structure on Gormley Ave. 215 Engine 1 arrived on scene to a fully involved garage that was detached from a residence, but was starting to melt the siding off the building. 215 Engine 2 and 215 Rescue arrived on scene shortly after followed by Engine 267-1 and 209 crews. 215 Engine 1 crew made a quick knock down with 2 ˝ hand line. 215, and 267 crews searched the residence, and accounted for everyone out of the building. 209 crews helped with overhaul and cooled down the building. Hour later 215 command put stations 267 and 209 back in service while 215 crews stayed with clean up.

   
Vehicle Accident at The Point

3/20/2007 - Stations 209 and 215 along with medic 195 where dispatched to 200 Davis Blvd. for a two-vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment. Rescue 215 responded with a crew of five (5). Medic 195 and North Fayette Police on scene first, reported one injury with minor entrapment. Engine 209-2 and Rescue 215 AOS to find two vehicles. One full size pick-up and a Chevy Camaro, both were on all four wheels and both had moderate front-end damage. 209 Captain had Davis Blvd command. Crews removed the driver's side door on the Camaro at the request of the medics to free the pt. The driver of the truck refused treatment and the other pt was transported by medic 195.

 
 
Vehicle Accident on Mckee Rd.

3/16/2007 - Station 215, and station 209 were dispatched for a MVA on Mckee Road near Biber™s Garage. 215 Rescue, and 215 Squad arrived on scene. Found 2 cars and a pickup truck involved in the accident. The 2 cars had heavy damage to the front a rear. While the truck had minor damage to it™s rear bumper. 215 L3 requested all units not en route stay in station, and units en route proceed non emergency. 215 crews cut power to cars and did patient assessment, and swiped debris off the road. Medic 195, and 209 engine 3 and Rescue came on scene. All 215 equipment was released from the scene and 209 crews stayed on scene to provide traffic control.

   
Garage Fire With Explosion on Center Ave.

3/9/2007 - Just a few minutes after members of station 215 finished washing the apparatus that went to the chimney fire 20 min earlier. Station 215, 267, and 209 were toned out for a residential structure fire with explosion on Center Ave. in Oakdale. 215 chief went in his personal vehicle to the scene. Moments later 215 Engine 1, 2 and 215 Rescue were in-service with full crews. 215 chief advised the fire is out and that 209 stand down and 267 place one engine in 215's station. All 215 units arrived on scene and pulled a line from Engine 1. 215 crews then extinguished hotspots and checked for extension and performed overhaul. All units released 45 min later.

   
Chimney Fire in the 7800 block of Noblestown Road
3/9/2007 - Stations 267,215, and 209 were dispatched to a chimney fire in the 2800 block of Noblestown road, near McDonald. Chief 267 chief arrived shortly on scene with 267 engine 1 and asked for McDonald™s (Washington county station 12) Truck. 267 chief asked all units not in service to standby in station. 215 engine 1 and 215 rescue pulled up behind 267 Engine 1. 215 and 267 crews went to the roof and inside with a water can to put out the smoldering logs and moved them aside. Truck 12 crews came in and lit a chimney flare and put inside the fire place. And crews on the roof used a chain to knock any creosote build up off. 209 crews ckecked for extension. Hour later all crews released and back in service.
   
Vehicle Accident On Rt. 22/30

1/16/2007 - Stations 310, 209,215, and Medic 195 were dispatched to a 2 vehicle accident between the Noblestown exit and Mcdonald Midway exit on 22/30 at the Allegheny/Washington county line. Rescue 310 arrived on scene and began minor extrication on the first car 215 engine and QRS arrived on scene and 215 engine pulled up behind 209 engine 1, and 215 QRS went to the 2nd car with 209 rescue to provide patient care. A few minutes later 215 engine was released while 215 QRS stayed on scene until medics arrived
